CryptoSpill
A crypto app that brings news, live markets, chat, community discussions and rewards into one place. I was the only designer, from the first screen to its launch on Google Play.

What the app does
CryptoSpill is built around five tabs: Home, Market, News, Chat and Rewards. People follow crypto news by topic, track coin prices, chat and call each other, join community discussions, and earn points they can redeem for vouchers. I designed the whole app, from onboarding and preferences to the wallet, profile and settings.
How I worked
The client needed a working app quickly rather than a formal design system, so I designed screen by screen against their feedback and kept things consistent by reusing my own components as the app grew.
News first, markets close behind
The home screen is a long, easy-to-scan feed: latest stories, trending, featured, a “missed it” section, industry announcements and short videos, with live BTC and ETH prices pinned at the top. Breaking stories are marked so they stand out.
Coin detail puts the chart first, with ranges from one hour to five years, followed by the numbers people check most: volume, market cap, supply and recent change, with red and green doing the work.

Chat, and a community around it
One-to-one chat and calls follow familiar messaging patterns on purpose, so new users can start talking straight away. Around that sits a community layer: discussions where people post, vote and comment by topic, plus groups, channels and broadcasts.

Rewards that are easy to follow
The rewards screen answers three questions in order: how many points do I have and what are they worth, how can I earn more, and what can I get. Points come from calls, referrals and daily check-ins, and can be redeemed for vouchers such as Amazon, Myntra and mobile recharges.

In the free version of the app only the news section is open; chat, calls and the rest unlock with premium, so this page is the best way to see the full design. The app launched recently and I’m continuing to refine it as feedback comes in.
